About the Artist.
Lindsey Katherine Dippold is an abstract landscape painter who primarily paints with acrylics on discarded or recycled wood, including old furniture. My projects are inspired by 10 years of living in the Arizona desert, preceded by many years near the Florida coasts.
My art is a celebration of nature’s beauty and mother Earth. Geometry meets the messiness of reality, as old wood surfaces have a new meaning and purpose, coming alive with bright, imperfect lines.
A professional educator turned visual artist, I did my best to embrace the personal challenges faced in the recent pandemic through art by creating vibrant pieces to refocus on positive energy and the surrounding calm and beauty of nature. I hope my paintings inspire and remind others of the love and beauty that surrounds us every day, so we’ll take action to revel and care for our planet and each other.
